Key Responsibilities\n

  • Deliver individual and group counseling sessions, employing evidence-based practices that respect and reflect the unique cultural backgrounds and needs of clients.

  • Monitor client progress towards goals, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure alignment with their evolving needs and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.

  • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of state and federal mental health laws.

  • Participate actively in team meetings, contributing to case discussions and sharing insights to enhance client care.

  • Document client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and promptly, ensuring compliance with organizational documentation standards.

  • Guide clients in daily living activities, fostering independence through teaching essential skills related to shopping, meal planning, and medication adherence.

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate client safety and well-being, implementing agency protocols and serving as a positive role model.

  • Provide guidance on transportation options, including public transit, while assisting clients in attending medical appointments and other necessary engagements.

  • Coordinate client medication management, including prompts for adherence, monitoring proper storage, and managing refills as directed by treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse patient population, including children, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges. Our clients may experience anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, trauma, and other behavioral health issues. Your adaptability and culturally sensitive approach will be vital in addressing the unique needs of each individual.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field is required.
  • \n
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.
  • \n
  • Self-directed and capable of thriving in a remote work environment with minimal supervision.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with various electronic health record systems.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, enhanced by the ability to engage effectively with clients, families, and team members.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Experience working with geriatric populations is preferred but not required.
