Speech Language Pathologist

This contract role offers a 36-week assignment for a School Speech-Language Pathologist in Rock Hall, MD. The position provides competitive pay and benefits and the chance to make a meaningful impact in student services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language pathology services to students across five small schools in the district

• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, or communication disorders

• Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress

• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district policies

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and school activities to integrate therapy goals effectively

Qualifications:

• Maryland licensure/certification or equivalent

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a school setting

• Experience working with infants, toddlers, and children Pre-K through 12

• Ability to manage caseloads across multiple small schools with variable student numbers

• Strong communication and adaptability skills

• Availability Monday-Friday, with flexibility for part-time

• Successful background check per district policy

• Physical ability to meet demands of school-based activities
