Customer Care Lead

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Call Center Lead to support our customer service operations. In this role, you will act as a primary point of contact for consumers requiring program account information, technical assistance (such as password resets for the online consumer portal), and general inquiries. You will not only provide courteous, one-to-one telephone support but also act as a crucial support system for the Call Center floor, assisting agents with escalated calls and stepping in for supervisors when needed. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Support Serve as a liaison between Call Center Supervisors and their respective teams. Act as backup support when a supervisor is off or unavailable. Coach and mentor agents, assisting with the training and onboarding of new staff. Support the Call Center floor by taking on and resolving escalated or complex calls. Independently manage and execute special projects as assigned. Ensure the team upholds and adheres to all changes in organizational policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications Education: Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university. Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a call center environment. Preferred Knowledge: Experience in or operational knowledge of healthcare, public health, Medicaid, CHIP, or managed care programs is a plus. Familiarity with human services systems is preferred.
