We are located on a beautiful 49-acre ranch-style campus where we provide services and care for at-risk boys ages 10-17. We have daily visitors such as turkeys, deer and even wild peacocks. Group medical, dental & vision Many more benefits for working with us at ROP Competitive Benefits & Perks Package: ROP-benefits-and-perks-2 What You Will Do / Day In The Life The primary responsibilities of a Youth Care Worker is to provide safety and around-the-clock supervision of at-risk youth. Youth Care Workers provide for the physical, personal and health needs of each student through individual counseling and behavioral/social/physical and educational skill development. Youth Care Workers provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the needs of the students; monitor and document student behaviors and activities; and participate and assist with educational, social, athletic and recreational activities. You will be providing active supervision at all times to youth in our care. Requirements To be considered you should be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect and have a high school diploma or equivalent. You must also be at least 21 years of age, have a desire to work with troubled teens and be able to pass a DCF criminal background check, drug screen, and TB test. There is no previous experience required for this role, but previous work with youth is preferred. Excellent Training will be provided! Schedule We are hiring for Days: 7 am to 8 pm. Staff work 4 days one week and 3 days the next.
