Position Summary We're seeking a Part-Time Home Health Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our growing therapy team in the KCK area. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide individualized therapy services that support patients with communication, speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing needs in the home health setting. Key Responsibilities Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist Provide speech and language therapy services to patients in their homes Assist patients in improving communication, cognitive, and swallowing skills as directed by the SLP Monitor, document, and report patient progress and condition changes in a timely manner Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques, home exercises, and communication strategies Maintain accurate patient documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standards Collaborate with the therapy team and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care Maintain a professional, compassionate, and patient-centered approach during all visits Qualifications Associate's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program (required) Active Kansas SLPA license/certification (required) Minimum 1 year of SLPA experience preferred Previous pediatric or adult therapy experience preferred Home health experience preferred but not required Strong communication, organization, and time management skills Dependable, self-motivated, and compassionate Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Schedule Part time Flexible Schedule Benefits Competitive pay and mileage reimbursement Flexible scheduling and manageable caseloads Supportive, team-focused work culture Opportunities for professional development and continuing education Meaningful work that makes a difference in patients' daily lives Work Location In the field and throughout the community (home health visits throughout the Wichita area) How to Apply Join a team that helps others thrive and grow your career while doing it!
