Who we are looking forThe Quality Assurance AVP position will be an integral part of the IBS Integrated Banking System Cash Application Team and will be responsible for performing quality assurance activities including planning and testing. The candidate is expected to be a hands-on tester and work directly with team members on & offshore, application users, analysts and developers to understand the business as well as aid in the deployment and post deployment support of the solution developed. Candidates should be knowledgeable of MT Payments, Jira and have automation experience.Why this role is important to usThe team you will be joining is a part of GTS Payment Cash & Custody group, a function that is vital to the company. As you develop a strong, interactive working relationship you will be an important participant in the success of the corporation in implementing the next generation of applications for the modernization of State Street cash applications.What you will be responsible forAs a Quality Assurance Lead AVP you will:Participate in the definition of overall test strategy for an application or group of related applications within a unitContributes to the execution of test resource plans for an application or group of applicationsProactively articulates resource issues to senior management, including proposals for resolutionProvides testing project leadership to onshore and offshore teamsAnalyzes and provides context and effective presentation of metrics gathered in the test process in order to propose and implement ongoing improvementsUtilizes existing QA Engineer procedures and controls that are in place and adhered too throughout the testing processGuidance on project team activities as well as project team activitiesManage/participate in the day to day activities of project team that may include onshore and offshore membersWhat we valueThese skills will help you succeed in this role· MT Payment knowledge· Jira, Selenium, GitHub Copilot, MS Office Copilot· Waterfall & Agile Methodologies· Strong communication skills· Self-motivated· Decision makingEducation & Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.10+ years of software quality engineering experience.5+ years of leadership experience managing QA and Quality Engineering teams.Proven experience with enterprise-wide automation initiatives.Strong knowledge of Agile, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices.Experience working within large-scale enterprise technology environments.Additional requirementsThis is an optional paragraph, remove if nothing inserted>Optional section for additional requirements such as travel, languages, good to have skills etc..Work RequirementOnsite 4 days a week in office and one day remoteStandard business hours aligned to project and stakeholder needs(8am to 5pm)Salary Range: $100,000 - $167,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
