This role involves assisting in the development and implementation of manufacturing solutions for various products.Job Responsibilities**Support the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing processes, tools, and fixtures.Assist in identifying and resolving production issues, quality defects, and assembly challenges.Conduct time studies and process analyses to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost reduction.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design engineering, quality assurance, and production personnel.Utilize Power BI to analyze production data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.Generate and maintain reports on key manufacturing metrics such as throughput, efficiency, downtime, and quality.Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.Assist in the selection and qualification of new equipment and technologies.Perform root cause analysis for production line failures and implement corrective actions.Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the Large Form Assemblies (LFA) industry.Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, including assembly, testing, and material handling.Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Proficiency in Power-Bi application preferred.Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing environment.BE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
