About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Stepdown Unit Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a hospital of similar size and acuity License: Active RN license required at the time of submission Certifications: AHA BLS Certification Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a hospital of similar size and acuity - Minimum of 1 year experience in a Stepdown Unit documented on the resume - At least 1 completed travel assignment preferred; if no travel, must have over 3+ years of experience Description: This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a stepdown unit. The nurse will work with a combination of stepdown and medical/telemetry beds. Patient-to-nurse ratios are typically 1:5, adjusted for acuity levels. A blocked schedule will be provided whenever possible. Current references within the same specialty are required. Resume must include the number of beds and trauma level for all facilities worked in the past 3 years. Employment type history must be documented as permanent/staff, travel, or PRN. The number of shifts worked per month should be included if working PRN. Successful candidates are expected to participate in an interview process and meet all requirements.
