The Golf Club at The Clubs of Cordillera Ranch is nestled 20 miles northwest of San Antonio in the hill country. The golf course has garnered local, state, and national attention by various golf publications and has been ranked in the Top IO golf course in Texas by Dallas Morning News since opening in 2006. Greens: Pure Distinction Tees / Fwys: Zeon Zoysia Rough: Tif 10 / Zeon Rounds: 28,000/year The club is closed Mondays for maintenance as well as 3 other weeks for aerification. Spring greens aerification, Summer aerification on tees/fwys/apps, and Fall greens aerification. Key Responsibilities Communicate with the General Manager, Director of Golf, and Owners Prepare annual operating & capital budgets, and other financial reports Schedule and supervise staff members Educate, train, and motivate staff members Maintain a safe, friendly, clean work environment Organize and plan in-house projects Maintain, repair, and program irrigation system 5yrs Superintendent experience preferred Experience maintaining Pure Distinction or newer varieties of bentgrass in the south / transition zone.
