Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 / year Description Kharon is seeking a full-time, Washington D.C. based Strategic Account Associate to join our Global Business team. This role requires frequent in-office attendance. Kharon is a highly disruptive and innovative organization that navigates risk at the intersection of global security threats and international commerce. Our mission is to revolutionize the current landscape by providing complex data on global security so that clients can make informed decisions about financial crimes, sanctions, export controls, and threat identifications. We serve many leading global financial and multinational institutions. As the world evolves, the demand for our products grows. We are looking for a Strategic Accounts Associate to shape the way businesses perceive and navigate global risks. In this role you will engage directly with significant accounts across financial institutions, technology firms, and government agencies. You will provide high-level support for the President of Global Business Development and Engagement, conduct in-depth research on regulations, and support sales and senior leadership in client meetings, calls, and presentations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Supporting the Global Business Sales team and Senior Sales Leadership in preparation for meetings, calls, and presentations. Identifying opportunities to improve and streamline business development and sales initiatives. Participating in external meetings, calls, and presentations, educating clients with case studies. Collaborating with marketing and research teams to support industry event participation and create proprietary material. Conducting business intelligence research on companies, industries, and geographies, focusing on financial crime, trade controls, and supply chain risk. Identifying leads and entry points for business development globally. Supporting proposal, RFP, and RFI development. Assisting the Sales Team with training and SOP implementation. Leveraging advanced AI tools (including Gemini and/or Claude) to streamline workflows and optimize sales operations. Preparing high-impact briefs, predictive insights, and tailored materials for client engagement.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Relations, Political Science, or related field. Academic or professional exposure to global security, international relations, financial crime, compliance, or regulatory environments. 4+ years of experience in business development, sales support, research, or operations in B2B, SaaS, professional services, or financial services. Strong research and analytical skills, especially related to sanctions, forced labor, financial crime, or ESG. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Google Slides, Excel, Sheets, and CRM systems such as Salesforce and Hubspot. Experience with sales-forward AI agents or platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience drafting proposals, pitch decks, and sales collateral. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines across teams. Strong judgment, initiative, ownership, and follow-through, with high credibility, trust, and integrity.

The base salary range at Kharon is set between $70,000 and $85,000.
