In addition, this role will have a dual responsibility in developing and implementing EHS programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, conducting risk assessments, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Job Functions Facilitate lean process improvement from idea to implementation. 5S system implementation, auditing, and continuous improvement. Define, implement, and maintain standards to agreed upon targets. Identify, facilitate, and deliver lean transformation projects and drive deliverables. Perform lean audits to assess baseline, monitor progress, identify opportunities. Maintain lean road map and summarize findings for monthly reporting. Conducting risk assessments and hazard evaluations to identify potential dangers in the workplace. Developing and implementing strategies to mitigate or eliminate identified risks. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards. Creating and maintaining comprehensive safety policies and procedures. Developing and delivering training programs for employees on safety protocols and procedures. Managing waste, reducing carbon footprint, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Investigating incidents, accidents, and near‑misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions. Maintaining accurate records of incidents and regulatory compliance. Developing and implementing emergency response plans. Conducting regular drills to prepare employees for potential emergencies. Monitoring the effectiveness of safety programs and making adjustments as needed. Staying informed about industry best practices and regulatory changes. Lead Safety Committee and record monthly meeting minutes. Monitor and replenish PPE and first aid supplies. Qualifications & Experience Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is required. Master’s degree is preferred. Experience: 5 plus years of experience.
