Certifications: BLS required

Must-Have: Experience in trauma, stroke, and ICU preferred. First-time travelers are accepted.

Description: Please ensure the traveler is aware of the following. Upon accepting the assignment and starting the role, the unit manager may assign the traveler to an "Emergency Team." There will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the event passes or be part of the relief team. Specific details regarding pay will be relayed on each emergency event, as impacts vary. By signing the travel contract to take a position, the traveler accepts the above and will report as assigned by the immediate unit manager if an emergency event occurs. Travelers should not apply for this role if they are not comfortable with the above.

Staffing Ratio: 1:14

Weekends: 8 weekend shifts per contract

Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

Patient Ratio Experience required Experience with the preferred charting system name: Epic

References are required to obtain clearance to start the contract. Two manager or supervisor references will be required. Resources who worked as permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must be separated from the organization for one full year before they can return as travel staff.
