Hours: Approximately 25 hours/week

Protein Treat Queen is looking for an experienced and dependable Lead Baker to join our team. This is a hands-on baking and production role for someone who is confident working in a commercial kitchen and can take ownership of the baking process from start to finish.

The ideal candidate has previous commercial baking experience, understands the demands of batch production, and takes pride in producing consistent, high-quality products efficiently. You should be comfortable working independently while also collaborating with others in a shared kitchen environment.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Previous experience baking in a commercial kitchen
• Experience with batch baking and working efficiently in a production environment
• Consistently follow recipes, procedures, and portion specifications
• Maintain a high standard of quality, consistency, and presentation
• Confidently operate an industrial mixer, convection ovens, and other commercial kitchen equipment
• Keep the baking and production process organized and on schedule
• Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures
• Work effectively alongside others in a shared kitchen space
• Communicate clearly and contribute positively to the team
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Dependable, confident, and comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities
• Able to recognize and address issues during the baking process and communicate when additional support is needed
