Box Truck Driver

Delivery DriverMetropolitan Cabinets & Countertops is currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Delivery Driver to join our warehouse team. This position plays a key role in delivering cabinetry, vanities, and related materials safely and efficiently to residential job sites, commercial projects, and company locations using a 26ft box truck.The ideal candidate is safety-focused, organized, customer-service oriented, and willing to assist with warehouse operations when deliveries are complete.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate a 26ft box truck for scheduled local and regional deliveriesLoad, unload, secure, and protect products to prevent damage during transportVerify orders and delivery documentation for accuracyPerform daily vehicle inspections and maintain truck cleanlinessCommunicate professionally with customers, contractors, installers, and internal team membersAssist warehouse personnel with staging, receiving, inventory movement, and general warehouse duties as neededFollow all company safety procedures, DOT regulations, and traffic lawsReport delivery issues, damages, or vehicle maintenance concerns promptlyQualificationsValid driver's license with clean driving recordExperience operating a 26ft box truck requiredDOT Medical Card preferred or ability to obtainExperience handling cabinetry or building materials preferredAbility to safely lift and move heavy materials on a regular basisStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsReliable attendance and strong work ethicAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
