Overview
Registered Nurse - OR, York, Maine, United States. This travel - temporary assignment runs for 13 weeks starting June 15, 2026. Weekly pay range: $2,139–$2,250 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: four 9-hour days (6:45 am–4:15 pm) with on-call, Monday through Thursday. Setting: hospital operating room team. This is a travel nursing assignment with OR-specific responsibilities and OR workflow requirements.

Responsibilities
- Deliver perioperative nursing care in the OR, supporting circulating and scrub roles for orthopedic cases
- Prepare the operating room, maintain sterile technique, and ensure proper instrument and equipment readiness
- Assist surgeons and anesthesia team; monitor patient status intraoperatively and respond to changes as needed
- Position patients safely, manage specimen handling, counts, and documentation of intraoperative care
- Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to support efficient case turnover
- Participate in on-call coverage as assigned and adhere to unit policies and timekeeping requirements

Requirements
- Current, active Registered Nurse license
- Mandatory active BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 5 years of OR experience with circulating and scrub roles; strong orthopedic OR experience required
- Ability to work in the OR environment with meticulous attention to sterile technique and patient safety
- Willingness to travel for a 13-week assignment and to meet on-call requirements
- Prior travel nursing experience is advantageous but not required
