Overview Respiratory Therapist – Registered | Viroqua, WI | Start 06/22/2026 | 13‑week travel assignment | $1,868–$1,945 per week | 36 guaranteed hours per week | 12‑hour night shifts (7 p.m.–7 a.m.) with every other weekend (Friday–Sunday) and holiday rotation | Hospital‑based travel assignment | Healthforce Healthcare LLC Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,868–$1,945 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12‑hour nights, 7 p.m.–7 a.m.; every other weekend and holidays Start date: 06/22/2026 Setting: Critical access hospital travel assignment Responsibilities Perform diagnostic and functional respiratory tests and monitor patients’ progress; adjust therapies as prescribed and documented. Create and implement patient‑specific treatment plans for respiratory care, in collaboration with the care team. Provide NICU‑focused respiratory therapy per unit protocols, including monitoring neonates and adjusting support as needed. Perform phlebotomy and IV starts/removals as necessary and educate patients on administering treatments and utilizing equipment. Educate patients and families on therapies, devices, and home‑care considerations; ensure understanding of treatment goals. Document care, progress, and any changes in the electronic health record; maintain infection control and safety standards. Requirements Active Respiratory Therapist license in Wisconsin. NICU experience required. Ability to work 12‑hour night shifts and travel assignments. Ability to work in a hospital setting and participate in a rotating schedule including weekends and holidays.
