What are we looking for? The Equipment Technician I is responsible for managing and tracking of electrical and mechanical test equipment. Shift/Schedule: 1st shift, M-F. What you’ll do: Transfer Equipment. Operate equipment. Maintain equipment and facilities. Maintain equipment calibration status. Perform basic analysis of test data and routine calculations. Prepare equipment for travel (i.e. for travel in a vehicle or by air). Research new equipment and vendors. Work with existing vendors to obtain quotes and purchase services and products. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent No experience is required - will train Ability to utilize basic shop equipment and various hand tools Ability to review, understand, and convey technical information in an effective manner Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out simple instructions Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional variables Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment Strong communication skills, in both verbal and written formats Microsoft Office software expertise, including Word, Excel and Outlook Valid driver's license and reliable driving record is required.
