Growth Marketer

Contract-to-Hire · $30 to $45 per hour

The Role:

We're looking for a digital marketer to own our marketing engine. Your job is to grow our subscriber base. You'll plan and publish content, design new promotions and funnels, run email campaigns and measure what's working. Our founder is the voice of the brand, and you're the person who gets that voice in front of the right people every week.

What You'll Own:

- Subscriber growth . Tracking weekly signups, conversion rates and channel results, and report every Monday on what's working and what you'll change.

- Content . Ship daily across our social media platforms, and send two or more emails and one long-form piece weekly.

- Email. Write and run welcome sequences, nurture campaigns, promotions, and win-back campaigns.

- Funnels. Map every step from first visit to paid subscriber, find where people drop off, and fix it with better landing pages, offers, and follow-ups.

- Testing. Run weekly experiments on hooks, subject lines, pages and offers to improve conversion rates.

- Affiliate program. Recruit, onboard and manage affiliates and brand partners who promote our products. Give them swipe copy, graphics and promo calendars, track their referrals and payouts, and grow the program into a reliable subscriber channel.

- Brand discipline. Keep messaging separate across our brands and audiences.

What Success Looks Like:

- 14 days: You know our products, audiences, and numbers. Tracking is set up, the weekly scorecard is live, and you're publishing every day.

- 30 days: Email sequences and funnels are live, and you have a clear read on which channels bring in subscribers.

- 60 days: Weekly net new subscribers are up at least 50% over your first two-week baseline, with at least 30% coming from channels you built.

What You Bring:

- 3+ years in digital or growth marketing, with subscriber or revenue growth you personally drove and the numbers to prove it.

- Fast, sharp writing for social, email, landing pages and promotions

- Hands-on experience building funnels and running email platforms, analytics, and A/B tests

- Experience launching promotions or offers from idea to results

- Comfort using AI tools to speed up research, drafting and repurposing so you can ship daily without lowering quality

- A habit of reporting: you know your numbers every Monday morning without being asked

- The ability to move fast, own the plan and hit aggressive targets on a short timeline

- Comfort working alongside a founder, taking direct feedback and adapting someone else's voice

Nice to Have:

- Experience growing a subscription, membership or SaaS product

- Experience building or managing an affiliate or partner program

- Interest in national security, geopolitics, or intelligence
