Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care (LTC)

Location: Palmyra, Missouri
Setting: Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care Facility
Shift: Variable Shifts (Day/Evening/Night – 8-hour shifts)
Schedule: Full-time | 36–48 hours per week

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care in a long-term care facility in Palmyra, MO. The LPN will be responsible for delivering direct patient care, administering medications, and supporting the healthcare team to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes to RN or physician
• Supervise and assist Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
• Perform clinical procedures such as wound care, catheterization, and specimen collection
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
• Respond promptly to resident needs and emergencies
• Provide emotional support and education to residents and families

Requirements

• Active Missouri LPN license (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (preferred or required)
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts (days, evenings, nights)
• Compassionate, patient-centred approach
