About the Role

\n

The Director, IT Digital & Data leads the development and evolution of technologies powering NAYA’s digital guest experience and enterprise data capabilities. This role owns the technical roadmap for online ordering, mobile, and loyalty, while building the data infrastructure that helps our teams make better decisions. Reporting to the Chief Information Technology Officer, you will partner closely with Operations, Marketing, Finance, and other Support Center teams.

You will connect the full guest journey, from device and ordering platform through the restaurant make line and pickup experience. You will also ensure NAYA’s data is reliable, accessible, and useful as we grow.

What You’ll Do

\n

\n

Lead our digital platforms

\n

\n
• Own the technology strategy, architecture, and roadmap for guest-facing platforms, including eatnaya.com, online ordering, mobile apps, and loyalty.
\n
• Partner with Marketing and Operations to prioritize improvements that make ordering easier, support restaurant throughput, and create a better guest experience.
\n
• Oversee integrations and data flow across Toast POS, Olo ordering and loyalty products, payment processors, delivery partners, ezCater, and other platforms.
\n
• Set and monitor standards for availability, reliability, performance, quality, and security across the digital guest journey.
\n
• Lead major platform launches, redesigns, migrations, and other digital initiatives from planning through adoption and ongoing improvement.
\n
• Work with restaurant and Support Center partners to identify issues, resolve root causes, and improve how digital orders move from the guest’s device to the make line and pickup.

Build enterprise data capabilities

\n

\n
• Define and execute NAYA’s enterprise data strategy, including architecture, pipelines, business intelligence tools, and reporting infrastructure.
\n
• Scale our Snowflake data warehouse to bring together trusted data from POS, inventory, digital channels, HCM, and other business systems.
\n
• Establish data governance, master data management, and data quality standards that create consistent definitions and dependable reporting.
\n
• Build scalable tools and processes that give Marketing, Operations, Finance, and other teams access to useful self-service analytics.
\n
• Support CRM capabilities, campaign segmentation, and measurement through well-designed data connections and controls.
\n
• Help leaders and teams use data effectively through training, clear reporting, and practical guidance.

Lead people, partners, and investments

\n

\n
• Lead, develop, and mentor internal technical talent while building strong working relationships with external partners.
\n
• Manage vendor performance, service levels, technical roadmaps, and delivery commitments.
\n
• Own the Digital & Data IT operating budget and recommend technology investments based on business needs and measurable impact.
\n
• Communicate technical priorities, tradeoffs, progress, and risks clearly to partners across the business, including senior leadership.
\n

Who you are

\n

\n
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
\n
• 10+ years of technology experience, including 3+ years in an IT leadership role at the Senior Manager or Director level.
\n
• 4+ years of experience in restaurant, retail, or hospitality environments, with a strong understanding of how technology affects frontline operations and the guest experience.
\n
• Experience with Olo products, such as Engage, Rails, or Spendgo, and enterprise data warehousing platforms such as Snowflake.
\n
• Demonstrated ownership of a digital platform migration, major launch, or data warehouse build from planning through implementation.
\n
• Strong knowledge of system integrations, data architecture, platform reliability, and vendor management.
\n
• The ability to align Operations, Marketing, Finance, and technology partners around shared priorities.
\n
• The judgment to balance long-term architecture with the immediate needs of restaurants and guests.
\n
• Clear communication skills and the ability to make complex technical topics understandable to nontechnical partners.
\n
• A leadership style that builds trust, develops people, invites feedback, and follows through.
