This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.As part of a hardworking team of quality engineers, you will develop and execute commercial quality processes for the design, test and manufacture of engines. Our team is responsible for implementing quality initiatives that will support development and low rate engine production. This position requires a passion for solving sophisticated problems and providing operable solutions; act with minimal direction and take ownership; and be adaptable as we work on a variety of applications and systems.We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!Responsibilities:Establish, implement, maintain, and enforce quality system processes that support products in development and production environments.Measure, analyze, and improve quality system performance consistent with organization quality goals.Review and approve manufacturing build documents including work orders and nonconformance records.Perform periodic audits of the application of our quality system in accordance with AS9100.Participate in engineering design reviews and make recommendations to improve the quality and manufacturability of new designs.Recommend and improve initiatives and/or changes that will improve product and system quality.Provide quality assurance domain expertise to inspection, manufacturing, and test for the Manufacturing team.Collaborate with internal and external customers on quality related concerns; develop and present training materials to build quality awareness.Minimum Qualifications:B.S. in engineering with 7+ years of relevant Quality or Engineering experienceQuality experience in production environment. Aerospace, space launch, or military or commercial aviation preferredFamiliarity with AS9100 or ISO9000 Quality Management System and/or related quality systems and programsSix Sigma Green Certificate or deep understanding of lean methodologiesStrong capability and understanding with proven success of RCCA tools.Strong GD&T technical understandingPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as Machining, Welding, NDT, Sub-assembly and Final assembly and Test.Experience mining data SQL, Redshift, redashQuality assurance experience in rocket engine production environmentRelevant experience in transitioning a product from development, through production to operationsQMS audit experience and quality performance measurement analysis capabilitiesBlack Belt, or comparable certificationCulture StatementDon't meet all desired requirements?
