Strong experience in JIRA Software Strong experience in JIRA Service Management Strong experience in Confluence Description:Job Description JIRA & Confluence Implementation Lead Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled JIRA & Confluence Implementation Lead / Migration Architect with at least 10 + years of lead enterprise-wide Atlassian platform implementations, migrations, architecture design, and governance initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable Atlassian environments, leading migration programs, implementing best practices, and driving collaboration across Agile, DevOps, and IT Service Management teams. This role requires deep expertise in Atlassian architecture, cloud and data center migrations, workflow engineering, integrations, automation, and enterprise governance. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Atlassian Solution Architecture & Design Design and architect scalable JIRA and Confluence environments for enterprise use. Define platform strategy, architecture standards, governance models, and operational procedures. Create high-availability, secure, and performance-optimized Atlassian environments. Design multi-project and multi-team collaboration frameworks. Establish enterprise taxonomy, permission models, naming standards, and workspace structures. Lead End-to-end Implementation Of JIRA Software JIRA Service Management (JSM) Confluence Configure Workflows Schemes Automation rules Dashboards Reports SLAs Custom fields Screen configurations Implement Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and ITSM workflows. Lead Migrations Including JIRA Server/Data Center to Atlassian Cloud Confluence migrations Cross-instance consolidations Legacy ticketing/documentation platform migrations Perform migration assessments, dependency mapping, and migration planning. Develop migration runbooks, rollback plans, and cutover strategies. Execute data validation, reconciliation, and post-migration optimization. Integration & Automation Integrate Atlassian Platforms With Enterprise Systems Such As Azure DevOps GitHub/GitLab ServiceNow LDAP/Active Directory SSO/SAML providers Microsoft Teams/Slack CI/CD pipelines Develop Automation Using Automation for JIRA REST APIs Webhooks Scriptrunner/Groovy Optimize workflows and reduce manual operational effort. Governance, Security & Compliance Define and enforce Atlassian governance standards and administration policies. ________________________________________ Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. 10+ years of experience with Atlassian products administration and architecture. Strong Expertise In JIRA Software JIRA Service Management Confluence Atlassian Cloud/Data Center Proven Experience Leading Large-scale Migration And Implementation Projects. Experience designing enterprise workflow architectures and governance models. Strong knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and ITSM frameworks.
