About the Role

We are thrilled to present an opening for a CDL Class B Driver within our Commercial team. This position involves driving and operating our bulk trucks (Mobile Manufacturing Units) and installing blasting products at local construction sites, mines, and quarries. You will also be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive a Class B CDL truck and operate equipment to deliver blasting products.
• Perform loading of products and installation of blasting materials.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring fluid levels are checked and refilled.
• Operate emulsion tanker trucks and box trucks as part of daily tasks.
• Handle raw materials and hazardous goods in compliance with safety regulations.
• Minimize environmental impact through effective waste management practices.
• Report any unusual incidents or accidents immediately.

Work Conditions

• Work schedule: Monday through Friday.
• Local driving assignments lasting 1-5 hours.
• Early morning starts at 3:00 AM.
• Overtime may be required.
• Up to 10% overnight travel may be necessary.
• This role is hybrid, with approximately 40% driving and 60% physical work.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in driving and/or material handling (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory management.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage urgent situations effectively.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and carry over 50 pounds of materials.
• Physical activities include loading products, pulling large hoses, and climbing on and off trucks.
• Valid Class B CDL is required (Class A is a plus); tanker endorsement is preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Hourly Pay Range: $27.50 - $31.00
