Role Description The Embroidery Assistant (Part-Time) supports the creation of custom embroidered home goods and keepsakes in a hybrid role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing materials, operating or assisting with embroidery equipment, and ensuring accurate execution of designs and personalization details. The role involves inspecting finished pieces for quality, organizing orders, packaging items, and helping maintain a clean, efficient workspace. The Embroidery Assistant may communicate with team members and occasionally with customers to clarify design specifications, timelines, and special requests. This position requires consistent attention to detail, adherence to brand standards, and collaboration with the broader studio team.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication skills for coordinating with team members and supporting clear understanding of custom orders
• Organization Skills to manage multiple orders, materials, and timelines efficiently
• Attention to detail and manual dexterity for precise embroidery and quality control
• Comfort working in a hybrid environment within the New York City Metropolitan Area
• Previous experience in commercial embroidery is preferred
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and safely handle tools and equipment
