Bartender / Server - Greystone Grille

Greystone Grille Bartender/Server Opportunity

The Greystone Grille is looking for an enthusiastic bartender/server to provide an excellent guest experience. Responsible for performing food and beverage service to diners while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
• Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Plan and present bar menu
• Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Transmit orders to bar and kitchen
• Deliver orders to customers
• Will be trained to help prepare food
• Maintain table settings by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, being alert to customer's needs.
• Compute bill utilizing the Point of Sale System and collecting payment from the customer.
• Stay updated on menu choices, specials, etc.
• Assist with team members as necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Requirements include:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Previous experience as a bartender
• Previous experience as a server preferred
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Computer literacy
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Relevant training certificate such as TAM or TIPS
• Flexible schedules available, positions available year round.
