Senior Quality Engineer – Overview Full-time | Location: Hayward, CA – onsite only | Citizenship or Green Card holders only | Compensation: $85K - $115K/year Our client seeks a talented Senior Quality Engineer with a minimum of four years’ experience making parts for the Semiconductor and Aerospace industries. This position reports to the Quality Engineering Manager. Responsibilities Use the client’s QMS to ensure quality throughout the shop. Upkeep, improve, and evolve the company’s quality operations. Work with customers and vendors on all things quality. Execute various Quality Engineer tasks and functions as directed by the Quality Engineering Management. Qualifications and Skills Required 4+ years’ experience in equivalent or similar role. A deep understanding of the various quality control methodologies commonly employed. Knowledge of PPAP, 8D, NC/CAPA, and SPC is a plus. Knowledge of GD&T is a plus. Experience making components for the Semiconductor and Aerospace industries. Basic understanding of the metal manufacturing world including punching, forming, welding, machining, and assembling. Basic SolidWorks skills; Advanced MS Office skills. Strong teamwork, communication, and people skills. Attention to detail.
