Experience a meaningful role supporting students by providing Special Education services at a dynamic junior high school near Indianapolis. We are seeking dedicated professionals to fill two full-time contract positions: one Special Education Resource Teacher and one Special Education Essential Teacher. Both require passion, adaptability, and Indiana state certification in the respective intervention areas.

Key Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana teaching license with relevant Special Education endorsement (Mild Intervention for Resource; Intense Intervention for Essential)
• Experience managing caseloads of 10-30 students, tailoring instruction and accommodations as needed
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with fellow educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to attend and participate in weekly staff meetings on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
• Commitment to providing structured, student-centered support in a school environment
• Previous experience in special education settings strongly preferred

Position Overview:

• Full-time, Monday through Friday (37.5 hours per week) following a 7:35 AM – 3:35 PM schedule
• Serve either a Resource caseload (25-30 students, mild intervention) or Essential caseload (10 students, intense intervention), supporting IEP goals in a supportive school setting
• Collaborate with other special education professionals and general education staff to plan, implement, and monitor effective support strategies
• Maintain detailed student records, participate in IEP meetings, and communicate regularly with students’ families
• Create positive, inclusive classroom environments where every learner can grow
