Job Title

PCU / Surgical Stepdown - Registered Nurse (Travel)

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Surgical Stepdown unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and assess patients requiring an intermediate level of care between ICU and general medical-surgical floors
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
• Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate clinical interventions in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be valid in the state of Kansas or through a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Prior experience in a PCU, IMC, or Stepdown clinical setting
• Ability to work night shift in a travel contract capacity

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with surgical stepdown or intermediate medical care patient populations
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Previous travel nursing experience
