Managing Attorney

Attorney PositionTalis Group's client is looking for a dynamic and people-oriented licensed Attorney that wants to get out of the courtroom and eliminate billable hours. This position will travel across Kentucky (primarily day trips) developing and presenting CLE programs centered around risk management for the law firm practice. The position will also create social media content and other marketing content for the company.Travel would be 40% and could include a rare overnight but primarily day trips.Position includes health, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k match.Salary range: $90-$100k plus potential bonus.Flexible environment and good corporate culture.Highlighted Duties:Lead engaging CLE programs (virtual and in-person) focused on legal risk management and prevention strategies.Create compelling monthly newsletters, articles, and communications.Develop social media content that highlights risk management insightsPartner with bar associations and legal organizations statewide to drive impactful events, outreach, and engagement.Support conferences, exhibits, and networking efforts to strengthen relationships with current and prospective insureds.Assist in executing creative marketing campaigns, presentations, and promotional initiatives.Build new insured relationships while maintaining strong connections with existing clients.Highlighted Requirements:J.D. required with KY license.3+ years of experience working in a law firmStrong research and writing skills, including oral presentation skills.Some experience in marketing and speaking or training preferred.Experience in a variety of software, ie Microsoft 365, Canva, PowerPoint etc.Willingness to travel across Kentucky to exhibit and present.Must be a self-starter.This information is a brief job summary for recruiting purposes only and does not constitute the entire job description, duties, or requirements.
