• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week; weekends required and scheduling may vary based on staffing needs

Job Requirements

• 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience required
• At least 1 year of Level I trauma experience or 2 years of Level II trauma experience required
• Experience caring for pediatric patients required
• Active Registered Nurse license; pending state license may be accepted if in hand before start
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC required; TNCC may be pending at submission but must be completed before start
• Experience with Epic required
• BSN preferred
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and variable scheduling based on department needs

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced, trauma-informed environment
• Assess, triage, and treat patients presenting with a wide range of emergency conditions
• Care for patients across all age groups, including pediatric, adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations
• Respond confidently to high-acuity cases, including trauma, chest pain, and stroke presentations
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support safe, timely patient care
• Document thoroughly and accurately in the Epic charting system
• Adapt to changing patient volume and staffing needs while maintaining excellent clinical standards
