Position Details

We are seeking a full-time, licensed Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate is customer-service driven, open-minded, and eager to learn. This position is well-suited for a hygienist who enjoys working with patients, adapting to new systems or techniques, and contributing positively to a team-oriented practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide preventive and periodontal hygiene services with a strong focus on patient comfort
• Deliver excellent customer service and create a welcoming patient experience
• Educate patients on oral health, home care, and preventive dentistry
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with doctors and team members to support efficient patient care
• Adapt to practice systems and protocols with a willingness to learn
• Manage time effectively to support smooth patient flow
• Follow all infection control and safety guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia Dental Hygienist license in good standing
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Open-minded attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
• Fast learner who is responsive to feedback and new processes
• Team-oriented mindset with a professional and positive demeanor
• Commitment to patient-focused, high-quality care

Qualifications:

• Current dental hygienist license
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office
• Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
