Senior Psychologist, CF (Specialist) Location: Salinas Valley State Prison (SVSP), Soledad, CA, Monterey County. Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate the facility’s suicide prevention program, including training, suicide risk evaluations, internal reviews of suicide attempts and completed suicides, institutional audits, reviews, and improvement of suicide prevention practices. Coordinate and monitor the Mental Health Program’s training activities. Oversee the psychological assessment program. Maintain order, supervise the conduct of the incarcerated, and protect and maintain the safety of persons and property. Travel may be required. Compensation and Benefits Effective May 01, 2022, employees in this class employed within CDCR and physically located at the Psychiatric Inpatient Program receive a pay differential equivalent to 15% of their monthly base pay. Only employees who provide direct patient care for more than 50% of the pay period are eligible for this differential. Recruitment and retention stipend of $10,000 one‑time, subject to criteria. Monthly recruitment and retention differential totaling $20,000 during first year, subject to criteria. Referral bonus of $5,000 if selected for hire and remain employed for 90 days.
