What You'll Be Doing: Plan and execute the full project and product lifecycle from definition to closeout utilizing iterative and waterfall methodologies: project planning; risk assessment; resource management; estimating and monitoring level of effort; identifying and managing impacts to cost, schedule, quality, and scope; organizing, planning, and prioritizing team tasks; and communicating and collaborating across organizational boundaries. Review code, make suggestions for improvements, and lay out tasks required to meet customer requirements. Interact directly with the customer product owners and contributors, managers and users Assess customer requirements, identifying dependencies and gaps, and developing responsive project plans. Work with the security team to ensure the applications are as secure as possible. Develop performance planning and assessments for direct reports. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in information systems, business systems, management information systems, IT management, and/or other IT degrees. 10+ years of experience leading diverse technical teams, while serving as the primary point of contact for all technical matters. Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent project or program management certification Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance Preferred Qualifications: Software development experience, preferably using Java, or other IT development experience. 5 years of experience managing both development projects and ongoing sustainment efforts that are evolving to use difference systems software or technologies Experience facilitating reviews with government customers to validate requirements, prioritize program backlog requirements into sprint backlogs, and validate designs. Professional level Agile certification, knowledge or experience as a Scrum Master Ability to shift between waterfall, agile, and DevOps methodologies and combine/tailor multiple approaches to meet project needs. Salary Range The proposed salary range for this role is $160,000 to $170,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
