Job Details
We are seeking friendly, energetic, and reliable Hosts/Runners to join our team at KPOT BBQ & Hot Pot, a dynamic, fast-paced Korean BBQ and hot pot dining experience.
At KPOT, guests cook premium meats, seafood, and vegetables right at their table while enjoying an interactive, social dining atmosphere. As a Host/Runner, you'll help create a welcoming environment while supporting smooth and efficient restaurant operations. You must be 18 or older to apply.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly attitude upon arrival
- Manage waitlists and seating arrangements efficiently
- Escort guests to tables and provide menus
- Assist servers by delivering food, beverages, and supplies to tables promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, lobby, and service stations
- Reset tables quickly and properly between guests
- Support guest satisfaction by responding to requests and communicating with team members
- Assist with opening and closing side work duties
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
- Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and management during busy shifts
Requirements
- Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Ability to stay active and on your feet for extended periods
- Prior restaurant experience is a plus, but not required
Scheduling & Availability
- Flexible scheduling available (part-time and full-time positions)
- Weekend and evening availability is highly valued
