Main Purpose of Job The electrician apprentice’s responsibilities include completing all tasks assigned by the master electrician, which may include assisting with installations, troubleshooting, repairs, and calibrations of electrical systems and equipment. You should be eager to learn and able to follow instructions. Role and Activity Learning from the master electrician and completing all assigned duties. Identifying, analyzing, troubleshooting, andassistingwith repairs of equipment and electrical faults. Traveling out to various public and private spaces toassistthe master electrician. Interpreting blueprints and schematics. Updating work logs, client accounts,andother administrative duties. Orderingreplacement parts and equipment as needed. Completing electrical installations and carrying out various maintenance duties. Working irregular hours and overtime whenrequired. Ability to work multiple shifts and/or schedules. High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience One-yearrelated experience (preferred). WORK ENVIRONEMENT In this position, the employee willregularly workwith and aroundothers;in a wet and/or humid environment; in areas of high noise level; and around mechanical, electrical, and pressurized equipment. The work isfast paced. The position involves frequent exposure to nuts and other potential allergens. The pay scale for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The pay range for prospective employees in this role is between $20.55 and $25 per hour.
