As a Security Officer Bike Patrol Unit in CORPUS CHRISTI, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming environment, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will complete routine patrols, respond to campus concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $14.21 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and activity across the location, assisting with visitor directions, policy awareness, and/or follow-up on suspicious or unauthorized behavior.
• Support campus operations during routine activities and special events by maintaining a visible presence and communicating with staff, students, and/or local responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to ride a bike is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
