As a full-time member of our rehabilitation facility, you will play a crucial role in providing top-tier patient care, implementing individualized therapeutic treatment plans, and assisting patients on their journeys to recovery.

Work Environment

This full-time position is onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, where our team operates Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. We understand the importance of flexibility; therefore, occasional adjustments to this schedule may be necessary to accommodate patient needs and optimize clinic operations. You will work shoulder to shoulder with a collaborative team of professionals, including other Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists, all dedicated to ensuring the best possible patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, strength, and functionality for each patient.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and rehabilitation activities that alleviate pain and enhance physical well-being.
• Educate patients on proper body mechanics, therapeutic techniques, and develop home exercise programs to support their recovery beyond clinic visits.
• Administer modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy under the supervision of your clinical training.
• Monitor and document patient progress, ensuring accurate records of range of motion, strength improvements, and functional outcomes.
• Keep treatment areas prepared and organized, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available for therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and enhance patient outcomes.
• Offer emotional support and encouragement to patients, fostering a motivating and positive environment conducive to healing.
• Adhere to all ethical and professional standards, maintaining patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients range from pediatric to geriatric individuals requiring rehabilitation services due to various medical conditions, sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, or general mobility challenges. Each patient presents unique challenges, and your expertise will be vital in helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Tennessee.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and a passion for helping others.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting, particularly within rehabilitation or therapy-focused environments.
• Experience working with a diverse patient population, particularly in a outpatient rehabilitation facility, is a plus.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and documentation practices.

Compensation and Benefits
