Emergency Medicine Physician opening in NY Located in Cooperstown, NY Full-Time, PermanentA progressive academic health system in central New York is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join an established team in Cooperstown. This opportunity offers strong annual compensation, 12-hour shifts, APC support, 24/7 radiology, tele-specialty coverage, EPIC EMR, and a major academic affiliation.

• Join an established Emergency Medicine team of physicians and APCs
• Six Emergency Departments and two Convenient Care locations across the network
• 82,500 emergency visits annually network-wide
• Highest volume at Bassett Medical Center, a Level III Trauma Center
• APC coverage and strong support staff
• 24/7 radiology reads
• Tele-Neurology and Tele-Psychiatry coverage at all sites
• Seamless specialty consult access through Bassett Medical Center, including Interventional Cardiology, Orthopedics, and Trauma
• 132 12-hour shifts per year with incentive opportunities for additional shifts
• EMR: EPIC
• Multi-specialty group with closed medical staff and 500+ practitioners
• Major teaching affiliate of Columbia University and affiliate of the University of Rochester Medical Center
Compensation & Recruitment Package:
• Annual salary: $414,000
• Sign-on bonus up to $100,000
• Incentive opportunities for additional shifts worked
Job Qualifications:
• MD, DO or MBBS
• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• NYS Licensure
• BLS Certification Required
• DEA Required
