Assistant Commercial Lines Account Manager - Base Salary to 80k/year - Hewlett, NY

• Our client, a well-established independent insurance brokerage, is seeking an Assistant Commercial Lines Account Manager. This organization provides commercial insurance solutions to businesses across a variety of industries and offers a collaborative, team-oriented work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Account Executive with servicing commercial insurance accounts.
• Process certificates of insurance (COIs), ID cards, endorsements, policy changes, proposals, loss run reports, recommendations, invoicing, billing, policy documentation, renewals, and account servicing activities.
• Maintain client account records within the agency management system and assist with day-to-day commercial lines account administration.
• Support primarily commercial real estate accounts while coordinating with carriers and internal team members to ensure timely policy servicing.

Qualifications:

• Experience using EPIC agency management system.
• Experience working for a retail insurance agency.
• Experience servicing commercial lines insurance accounts.
• Experience processing certificates of insurance (COIs), endorsements, policy changes, renewals, billing, invoicing, loss runs, and policy documentation.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 70k - 80k/year range, plus 50% on new & renewals on any business you bring in plus a full benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401k, PTO, Paid Holidays (including Jewish Holidays). Ideally, they'd like you to be in-office but they are open to a hybrid schedule (2 days a week from home for the right candidate).
