Base Pay Range This advertisement is for a OPTOMETRIST, CF position located at SOLANO STATE PRISON in VACAVILLE, CA in SOLANO COUNTY . Duties Conduct eye examinations using observation and instruments to determine visual acuity, perception, focus and coordination. Diagnose diseases and other abnormalities for the patient. Maintain order, supervise the conduct of inmates and protect and maintain the safety of persons and property. This part‑time position will work 36 hours per week. The monthly salary range for this position is $6,964-$9,287. Minimum Qualifications Possession of a valid license to practice optometry in the State of California. Two years of experience in the practice of optometry. Pass the Optometrist, Correctional Facility examination bulletin.
