Quick Facts Location: Stoughton Pay: $36.50/hour Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), Part Year Start Date: August 12, 2026 *Part Year includes built-in summer break, 2 weeks winter break, and spring break What We Offer Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Generous Paid Time Off & Holidays 403(b) Retirement with Company Match After 2 Years Company-Paid Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability Flexible Spending Accounts Public Service Loan Forgiveness Eligible Employer Work-Life Excellence & Professional Growth School calendar schedule with built-in seasonal breaks Specialized therapeutic early childhood program leadership Collaborative team with Therapeutic Child and Family Resilience Specialist and Classroom Leaders> DPI certification pathway support Trauma-informed and mental health-focused educational environment Comprehensive professional development: ongoing coaching, paid continuing education, and credential support Career advancement pathways with organizational training support Qualifications You’ll Need Education: Minimum Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Bachelor's in ECE, or Elementary Education with 18 ECE credits Certification: DPI certification in ECE or related field preferred; Registry Level 14 or above within 90 days Experience: Minimum 5 years in early care education setting with preschool teaching experience; strong partnerships with low-income, high-risk, multicultural families Specialized Knowledge: Trauma effects and manifestations, trauma-sensitive approaches, infant and early childhood mental health principles, anti-bias education Curriculum Expertise: Social-emotional learning centered curriculum design and implementation, systems/ecological planning lens Professional Competencies: Independent work capabilities, strong problem-solving skills, flexibility, patience Language: Bilingual in Spanish and/or Hmong preferred Additional Requirements: Valid Wisconsin Driver's License with adequate insurance What You’ll Do As a Therapeutic Education Leader, you’ll create healing learning environments by: Leading the Therapeutic Early Childhood Program for families and children experiencing trauma Collaborating with Therapeutic Child and Family Resilience Specialist and Classroom Leaders Planning and implementing trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate curriculum Centering social-emotional learning in all classroom activities, routines, and learning experiences Ensuring comprehensive child development services including education, health, nutrition, and family support Building strong partnerships with parents, children, coworkers, consultants, and community partners Applying systems/ecological lens to child, family, classroom, and site planning Following Head Start Performance Standards, licensing requirements, and accreditation criteria Supporting high-risk families with comprehensive mental health and educational services Who We Are At Reach Dane, we’re reimagining early childhood education as a powerful tool for social transformation.
