We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic / Technician to join our growing service team here at Lou Fusz Ford in Chesterfield, Mo. This is a union position that is governed by the District No. 9, International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers A.F.L. - C.I.O.: What We Offer Medical/RX/Dental/Vision Life Insurance 401k Plan Voluntary Benefits including short term disability/accident/critical illness/universal life/cancer and vision Sick Leave Vacation Funeral Leave Pension Plan Uniforms Responsibilities Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.
