The ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students is imperative. The teacher also should be knowledgeable regarding technology integration in lessons. This position is for the 2026–2027 school year. Essential Functions Provide grade appropriate instructional program for students that adheres to the school's philosophy, goals, and objectives. Maintains an attractive, organized, and engaging learning environment. Develop lesson plans with clear objectives in line with the Archdiocese of Baltimore and State of MD Standards. Maintains accurate and complete records of students' progress and development. Provides regular and consistent communication with parents, students, staff, and administration. Maintain confidentiality regarding students, their families, and other employees outside the school. Perform additional duties when needed for the supervision of students before, during, or after school. Participates in faculty meeting, school committees, and in-service learning opportunities. Maintain high professional standards consistent with the mission of the school and the teaching of the Catholic Church. Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students at all times, and for classroom management using PBIS (positive behavior intervention and support) protocols. Works collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and administration. Attend school events including Back to School Nights, Open Houses, Parent/Teacher conference days, and other events as requested by the administration. Position Qualifications Bachelor's degree and current MSDE certification or willing to obtain. Successful experience in student teaching or classroom teaching. Basic understanding and acceptance of Catholic school philosophy, goals, and objectives.
