Pipe Yard Associate

Ferguson is seeking a Pipe Yard Associate to fill an immediate need for the pipe yard at our brand new semi-automatic fabrication shop. If you have warehouse or pipe yard experience in the pipe industry, this is the position for you!

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy motorized material handling equipment in a safe manner.
• Accurately pick products ordered.
• Coordinate the removal and replacement of worn components.
• Accurately cycle count, thoroughly inspect orders, and unload trucks with forklift.
• Effectively put items away and receive them in system.
• Coordinate the organization and reconfiguration of the yard.
• Operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and Ferguson safe operating procedures.
• Assist in all operations of the shop and pipe yard on an as needed basis.

Qualifications

• A background in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred.
• Basic product knowledge of carbon steel pipe and pipe fittings is preferred.
• Forklift Operator experience required.
• Requires working outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions and temperatures.
• Constantly requires carrying objects that are up to 50 lbs. by hand.
• Constantly requires carrying objects that are 50 lbs. or more using equipment.
• Highly organized and able to perform tasks with minimal direction.
• Strong mechanical proficiency.
• Basic math skills required.

Pay Range:

$15.61 - $23.41

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
