Surgical Tech

Certified Surg Tech Certified Surgical Technician Seeking a Certified Surgical Technician to provide essential support in the operating room. This role is critical in ensuring a safe and efficient surgical environment by preparing the operating room, maintaining sterile fields, and assisting the surgical team during procedures. Key Responsibilities Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, including setting up sterile equipment and supplies. Maintain the sterile field throughout surgical procedures. Assist surgeons and other operating room personnel with instruments, supplies, and equipment. Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures. Adhere to sterile technique and infection control protocols. Account for all surgical instruments, sponges, and needles. Perform general cleaning and disinfection of the operating room environment. Assist with the transfer of patients to and from the operating table. Schedule / Shift 40 hours per week Day shift Rotating call Required Qualifications Completion of an accredited surgical technician program. Experience Must have surgical technician experience. Certifications Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Basic Life Support (BLS) Skills Proficiency in sterile technique. Knowledge of surgical instruments and their uses. Ability to work effectively as part of a surgical team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to remain calm and focused in a high-pressure environment.
