Sr. Claims Examiner - PIP

Position Overview We are looking for a Sr. Claims Examiner – PIP to join our team. The role involves analyzing insurance claims, determining insurer obligations, and settling claims with parties per policy and law. Responsibilities Analyze insurance claims to determine the extent of the insurer’s obligations. Settle claims with first‑ and third‑party claimants in accordance with policy provisions and applicable law. Thoroughly understand coverages, policy terms, and conditions across broad insurance areas and special contracts. Travel to attend customer service calls, mediations, and other legal proceedings. Evaluate each claim in light of facts; affirm or deny coverage; investigate to establish proper reserves; and settle or deny claims in a fair and expeditious manner. Communicate with all relevant parties and document communication and results of investigation. Qualifications High school diploma; bachelor’s degree preferred. Five or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Three or more years of PIC‑related experience and an AIC designation considered for employees in good standing with excellent claim audit scores. Compensation Base salary range: $90,226.00 – $100,840.00. Ultimate salary offered will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location.
