This position offers flexibility with up to 24 hours a week, depending on need and preference. Candidates are expected to work 8 to 30 hours a week on a first shift schedule. The role requires evaluating and implementing regular, special, and modified diets to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards. The dietitian will conduct nutrition assessments, including reviewing medical charts and interviewing direct care staff and clients regarding dietary preferences and concerns. Maintaining dietary and nutrition records, reports, and progress notes is essential. The dietitian will also plan and/or conduct training programs related to nutrition for clients and staff. Participation in various team meetings and committees is expected. The position involves exposure to unpredictable resident actions and requires walking on a large campus. Continuous professional development in the form of annual education is required to maintain licensure.
