Laboratory Manufacturing Associate

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Manufacturing Associate to support formulation, testing, and production activities in a regulated laboratory environment. The successful candidate will assist with finished product preparation, analytical testing, documentation, inventory review, and compliance with established quality and safety standards.

Essential Responsibilities

Perform finished goods formulation activities according to established procedures.
Review available inventory and materials required for production activities.
Adjust concentrations of products and solutions as needed.
Perform buffer exchange processes in support of manufacturing operations.
Conduct endotoxin and other analytical assays.
Read, interpret, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), batch records, and other controlled documentation.
Analyze and optimize lot histories and production records.
Utilize ERP and related databases to obtain information supporting manufacturing and bulk processing activities.
Follow all applicable procedures, policies, quality requirements, and health and safety guidelines.
Operate laboratory instruments including Nanodrop and spectrophotometers.
Clean, maintain, and organize laboratory work areas, equipment, and supplies.
Complete production records, documentation, and data entry activities.
Participate in additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.

Experience

1 to 2 years of laboratory experience involving analytical assays, testing, or manufacturing support activities.
Experience working within regulated manufacturing or laboratory environments.
Knowledge of quality systems, controlled documentation, and industry compliance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using ERP or MRP systems to support production order execution and inventory management.
Hands-on experience with aseptic techniques and work within biological safety cabinets.
Experience with basic protein purification and protein formulation processes.
Knowledge of GMP, QSR, ISO-regulated, or other quality-controlled manufacturing environments.
Experience performing analytical assays, including endotoxin testing.
Experience with pipetting and dispensing liquid products.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to verify specifications, production information, and documentation accuracy.
Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in a laboratory or manufacturing setting.
