Our rich history is built on decades of experience, teamwork and outstanding performance… and our future is built on people like you!Overall Purpose of the JobManages the alignment of the Global SCM strategy through creating, implementing and managing all aspects of Supply Chain Management (Procurement, Logistics and Materials) to limit costs and improve customer service. Scope of role likely to relate to significant geographic responsibility e.g. Region. Key Activities and AccountabilitiesCreate standard and measureable processes for all core aspects of Regional Supply Chain Management within INSIGHT.Responsible for the monthly review and reporting of all aspects of Regional Supply Chain, Strategic Initiatives and KPI`s.Aligned to the assigned region – evolve a long term SCM strategy to consider and propose lease/buy options, currency efficiency and contractual tax efficiency.Supervising and leading higher level negotiation, placing of Purchase Orders for the project, commodity or product line while driving cost out initiatives within the supply base and business.Management of the Approved Suppliers List and the Supply Approval/Due Diligence process within the assigned region.Manage the implementation of Group Logistics Policy and Objectives to ensure best Logistics practice within the assigned region, compliantly.Promote and develop forward materials planning process to implement predictive controls over inventory – e.g. long term strategic stock planning, master supply arrangements, global material usage, and material succession controls and to keep inventory levels optimum. Perform all duties as assigned by management.Actively adhere to the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies, procedures and processes to ensure the highest ethical standards are maintained and exposure to liability or risk to Expro’s reputation is minimised. Provide leadership in all ethical issues; ensure employees are aware of Expro’s compliance requirements and feel able to report possible violations or conflicts of interest.Actively adhere to and ensure compliance with applicable Quality policies, procedures, processes & systems. Take an active part in quality improvement processes. Act on reported deficiencies and approve deviations from standard procedures as appropriate.Ensure that employees adhere to and comply with all applicable Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and processes. Provide leadership in HSE; encourage employees to take responsibility and be accountable for their own and others’ safety and provide an environment where they feel authorised to stop any unsafe job. Ensure that all incidents and non-conformances are reported in line with the appropriate procedures and deadlines; ensure that all incidents are investigated and corrective actions raised as required; where appropriate, participates in incident investigations.Supervise, mentor and coach direct reports and ensure completion of their Employee Development Plans. Where applicable, ensure that training and competency programs are in place to facilitate the mentoring of subordinates through the competency system. Conduct competency assessments when required.Job Knowledge and QualificationsFive to Ten (5-10) years’ experience of Supply Chain Management with a global oilfield service company.Five (5) years Management experience of procurement/logistics/materials functions.Business graduate (or similar qualification) and/or Lean Six Sigma qualified.Supply chain experience in manufacturing/machining oilfield components and/or raw material.Excellent initiative and determination - includes creativity, innovation and risk-taking, as well as the ability to plan and manage and successfully execute projects.Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.Excellent safety, quality and financial awareness.Good participation and active listening and the ability to present oneself with confidence.Excellent customer service and understanding of customer’s expectations.At Expro, we live by our values, People, Performance, Planet and Partnerships.
