The physician will cover the PICU and PCICU, including nights and weekends, and will contribute to patient care, clinical research, education, and quality improvement. The position is a fixed-term faculty member within an academic medical center that supports a 20-bed PICU and a 13-bed PCICU, with approximately 1,200 admissions annually. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Board certified in Pediatrics and board certified or board eligible (BC/BE) in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience Experience with pediatric critical care medicine and moderate or deep sedation, whether through a separate service line or direct clinical experience in the PICU.
